Aleashia Walton Valentin is a Rhetoric and Composition PhD candidate in the Department of English Literature and Languages at the University of Cincinnati where she teaches classes in First-Year Composition, Technical and Scientific Writing, and Advanced Composition.

Her research covers a wide range of specialized topics including feminist rhetoric, disability rhetoric, rhetoric of space, community literacy, and Writing Across the Curriculum.

Walton Valentin also serves as Co-Series Editor of ‘Practices & Possibilities’ at The WAC Clearinghouse.
